Wilcon Builders Depot has chosen the Geovision surveillance system to replace their existing analogue CCTV system at existing hardware stores and also at their newly constructed store locations. They chose Geovision for its wide offering that is able to meet their detailed requirements for different locations within the building. For example the buildings flexibly mix different types of cameras including fixed, varifocal WDR, and pan-tilt-zoom megapixel IP, as well as the existing analogue cameras to monitor stores, offices and parking lots. A mixture of GV-1120 and GV-1240, video capture cards running on Geovision video surveillance platform, is used to provide a hybrid solution and to help the client migrate from the old analogue system to a better IP platform.

To date around over two hundred GV cards and GV-IP cameras have already been installed at branches of Wilcon Builders. The numbers will increase as 2 more stores are in the pipeline this year and many more in the years to come. The solution has been offered by its local partner Digital CCTV.
