The GV-IP Decoder Box decodes up to 5-megapixels and displays up to 1080p resolution, while most of the traditional IP decoders decode only SD feeds.
The setup of multiple pane layouts can be done through GV-Mobile Server, the software that comes free of charge with every GV-IP IP camera. For large installation sites, a GV-IP Decoder Box may connect through more GV-Mobile Servers for flexible display options. A GV-IP Decoder Box may connect up to 64 GV-Mobile Servers, allowing sequential scanning of to up to 2,048 video streams.
It also supports 3rd-party IP cameras through ONVIF, PSIA and RTSP protocols, set up through an optional function in the GV-Mobile Server software.

Geovision releases HD decoder

Geovision has released an HD decoder (GV-IP Decoder Box) to display multiple megapixel IP video feeds without additional PCs. The solution can effectively save costs for sites where IP video feeds need to be displayed at multiple locations.
