New solutions from Geovision at ISC West

Taipei, Taiwan

At the upcoming ISC West in Las Vegas from the 6th April, Geovision will showcase the latest technologies and demonstrate the benefits of their solutions, including the flagship video monitoring software GV-VMS with H.265 HEVC compatibility and up to 64ch support.

Many other market innovations will also be making a debut at the show, including a brand new camera type, panorama speed dome GV-PPTZ7300, 4K IP speed dome, 4ch 4K H.265 standalone PoE NVR, HD video server, H.265 compatible IP cameras, and the new Target Series IP cameras featuring P-Iris varifocal lens.

Geovision’s line of IP cameras is constantly expanding to provide solutions to emerging needs in the industry. Among the featured highlights in the IP camera lineup will be the debut of the GV-PPTZ7300, which is a U.S. patented 360° anti-blindspot network camera that combines the panorama feature of a fisheye camera with the tracking and zoom agility of a speed dome. This revolutionary model allows users to achieve a 360° panorama view while simultaneously being able to perform pan/tilt/zoom on specific points of interest with a simple click of the mouse.

The GV-VMS with up to 64ch support is an effective solution for high-volume IP surveillance. The latest version release, the GV-VMS v15.10, is one of the first H.265 HEVC video management softwares on the market and will deliver up to twice the compression efficiency compared to the previous H.264. In keeping with the new H.265 standard, the GV-BL5700 and GV-VD5700 will also be introduced to implement H.265 to reduce bit rate requirements while maintaining the same quality of video. A new 4K IP speed dome will also be introduced to meet the increasing demand for high resolution solutions.

This year at the show, Geovision will also debut a new single door access controller with a built-in 2 MP camera with wide angle lens and 13.56 MHz reader, the GV-CS1320. Visitors to the booth will also see the latest developments in the cloud-centric surveillance solution. Other than the cloud-based solution, new local based solutions will also be introduced for both analogue and IP formats. The new HD video server can be used to upgrade an existing analogue system to HD quality surveillance. The new 4ch 4K H.265 standalone PoE NVR system is also able to expand the capability of small scale IP solutions.
