Fronti Security Smog Jet machine designed for panic situations

Taipei, Taiwan

Fronti, a leading manufacturer of home automation and security systems, is releasing a new solution to minimize human risk during a robbery.
The unique Security Smog Jet system, FS168A, can be remotely activated by a hand-held device or by installed sensors for example, when a burglary is in progress or when there is a break-in about to take place. Both methods will trigger the FS168A Smog Jet unit to eject non-transparent smog in to a room, such as in a shop or in any room in a house or office block, to prevent burglars from at least entering the room and/or taking further action.

The non-transparent smog from the FS168A will be released in 3 seconds following a sensor or remote device being triggered. It is outputted at 10,000 cubic feet/ per minute which is quoted by the company as capable of filling a room within 12 - 60 seconds. The smog (a mix of fog and smoke) will linger in the area for around 30 mintues. During this time the break-in suspect(s) will not be able to see anything over 20cm away from them.. The distributed smog is made from non-harmful vegetable formulae (food additives) and contains a light mint smell. It is also colourless and leaves no trace once disbursed.

The FS168A Smog Jet System can manage upto 20 units (max) of Fronti wireless sensors, wireless external siren and strobe lights. If installed with a Fronti security console it will also be able to provide an emergency call-out service through either a voice dialler or SMS to report an alarm event. With 3-colour LED indicators, the FS168A will advise of low/empty fluid, malfunction, and event trigger status.

The unique Security Smog System is compact in size, measuring only 43.5(L) x 29.7(W) x 13.6(H) in cm, and with a gross weight of 16.5kg including a bracket holder for simple installation in various locations.
