The Flir Quasar Hemispheric mini-dome camera provides an immersive, 360°, real-time forensic experience using United VMS. The camera supports user-customised views and digital presets without affecting the recording of the complete 360° view—making it an ideal choice for full coverage, panoramic video surveillance. Features include broadcast-quality video, multi-streaming with full frame rates, wall and ceiling modes, vandal-resistant housing, indoors and outdoors, automatic IR-Illumination in lowlight conditions and bi-directional audio.

The new Quasar Quad HD Retrofit mini-dome allows users to retrofit previous generation Quasar cameras to this latest Quasar QHD camera technology. Using the Quasar snap-in-snap-out retrofit design, installers can quickly upgrade the CM-1100, CM-2100, CM- 3100, CM 3200, and CM-4200 Series cameras to 1440P QHD resolution. Features include a motorised lens, P-Iris and a shutter WDR.

In addition to the two new cameras the latest United VMS software upgrades are also now available. New version updates for Latitude, Horizon and Meridian have now been released. Software update 7.0.0.5758 significantly improves performance and security, and also supports the newly released Quasar cameras with the latest camera firmware updates.

The main features and improvements provide support for up to 10,000 cameras on a single Latitude directory, secured connection for EZ Client web interface, utilising TLS cryptographic protocol, fast, efficient export of MP4 video from Control Center and EZ Client, for efficient export and use of standard payers.  There is also support for new Quasar hemispheric and Quasar Quad HD retrofit mini-dome cameras and additional support for Quasar Gen 2 firmware, Quasar 30X PTZ auto-tracking (with TRK), and FC-Series ID’s arm / disarm functionality.
