Fermax video door entry kit adapted for disabled use
Valencia, Spain
The door entry panel includes a One-to-one screen that uses icons to indicate the communication status, for example, if the user is calling, if someone is speaking from inside or opening the door or if the channel is busy. The signals, which work by means of LEDs, were initially designed for people with impaired hearing but they also have the advantage of making the panel more user friendly for everyone.
In addition, and in this case thinking of the visually impaired, the panel has a built-in voice message (now standard issue in Fermax product line) which indicates: “The door is open, please close the door behind you”. The monitor, in turn, includes an inductive loop as standard issue, an element that interacts with conventional hearing aids, facilitating conversation with the outside. Its presence goes unnoticed by other users.
The kit also includes visual or audio call alerts. This way, when someone calls from the outdoor panel, an acoustic warning light is triggered on the inside, or an additional signal may be integrated which can be positioned in a different location.
