The future stars of international football have a date from 15th to 23rd August in the Valencian town of La Alcudia. The best under-20 players will meet up at the COTIF, a friendly tournament which, in its 29th edition, attracts eight international teams from several continents.

Such important names as Casillas, Palop, Raúl, Guti, Albelda, or Iván de la Peña among the Spanish, Venezuelans Salomón Rondón and Rafael Romo, Brazilians Cafú and Ricardo Oliveira, Chelsea’s Ukrainian player Andriy Shevchenko or Mexican Rafael Márquez are only some of the footballers who, setting out on the road to stardom, took part in the International Sub-20 Soccer Tournament in Alcudia (COTIF). These figures highlight the interest of an event that allows you to enjoy great football today from the stars of tomorrow.

Teams competing in this year's friendly tournament include the under-20 national sides from Spain, Argentina, Turkey, Ecuador, Korea and Saudi Arabia, in addition to the Japanese university selection and the Valencian regional team. The eight groups will share nine days of top competition, in which camaraderie and coexistence are also essential.
