Fermax collaborates with charity in Malta

Valencia, Spain

The Spanish company Fermax is collaborating with the Inspire Foundation, a non-profit organisation that provides therapeutic, educational and leisure services on the island of Malta, to allow a group of young people, including 4 disabled members, to complete the French route of St James's way.
The group set out from the town of Sarriá on 26 March. Covering an average of 22 km a day, they finished the 112km itinerary in just 5 days. In addition to overcoming the gruelling conditions along the way, the group was able to share a unique experience and enjoy the unique scenery of the Santiago route.

For the Inspire Foundation, links with companies such as Fermax are crucial when carrying out this kind of initiative.

"In this context, we see linking the experience to a fundraising event as important to gather resources and provide people with disabilities the chance to take part in an encounter like this”, adds a Foundation spokesperson.

Fermax believes that this initiative is another example of the commitment of Fermax by actions on Disability, the core of its Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
