Ditek to highlight innovative surge protection at ISC West

Largo, Fl (USA)

Ditek's line up for ISC West in Las Vegas next month

Ditek, a leading provider of surge protection solutions for electrical systems, will highlight its latest innovative products at the upcoming ISC West 2020 show.

These solutions solve traditional challenges with protecting networked security systems, as well as addressing new building code requirements for protecting bi-directional amplifiers and distributed antenna systems (BDA/DAS systems) with devices designed to protect the lives and effectiveness of first responders including police, fire, and emergency medical personnel. Ditek’s broad surge protection and UPS offering provides system designers and installers complete surge protection solutions for commercial, industrial and residential facilities of all kinds.

“Protecting critical electrical equipment, including fire and life safety systems, from surges is easy and cost-effective, yet many facilities suffer downtime each year due to surge damage” said Jason Klein, National Sales Manager, Ditek. “Our broad lineup of innovative surge protection solutions gives system designers and integrators the tools they need to ensure these critical systems are working when they are needed most.”

Some of the offerings planned for exhibition and demonstrations at the show include the company's product families such as the modular network protection products offering a family of wall-mount and rack-mount surge protectors that use state-of-the-art circuitry to provide surge protection for Ethernet, PoE, and PoE extender circuits. Wall mount models come in compact 4-channel and 8-channel sizes. Low profile 1U rack mount models can be configured to support any number of channels up to 24 in each enclosure. Protection modules are fast and easy to replace from the front of the enclosures without removing from the rack, mounting, or other connections.

Ditek's UPS lineup provides clean and stable power for all types of connected electronic equipment. Compact, economical line-interactive models feature built-in boost and buck AVR for voltage stabilisation and incorporate an embedded microprocessor control for exceptional reliability. Online double-conversion models come in standard rackmount configurations and are designed to shield your equipment from the harshest power quality issues.

The company will also present antenna protection devices for public safety radio systems. Ditek's VSPN surge protector is specifically designed to protect external antenna leads to cellular transmitters, bi-directional amplifiers, distributed antenna systems, GPS transmitters and base stations. This innovative product protects essential safety systems that are increasingly required by building and fire codes across the country.
