Compro network cameras enhance safety

Taipei, Taiwan

MeHAS City -- a huge housing complex of some 1,600 apartments, Taipei, Taiwan

Mehas city, a huge housing complex on the outskirts of Taipei is nearing completion and Compro IP55 megapixel network cameras are deployed in its perimeter security system.
An ambitious housing project like Mehas city will provide not only an assortment of amenities, but more importantly, robust security measures for residents. The housing complex had advanced surveillance and emergency help systems incorporated into the design of the buildings. A perimeter security system that integrates IP cameras with emergency pushbutton and communication system was one of such efforts geared toward making the complex comfort yet secure.

With the safety and welfare of future residents in mind, Mehas embarked on a search for a perimeter security solution that best suits its needs and finally decided to deploy Compro IP55 megapixel network cameras on the basis of a reputation for excellent cost-to-performance ratio, built-in IO interface and IO integration capability, and above all, clear and low-latency two-way voice communication function.

In the end, a total of 200 Compro IP55 network cameras were installed at the perimeter of this housing complex. The camera’s speaker and microphone and the pushbutton are connected to allow for real-time bi-directional communication between the security staff and the people potentially involved in emergency situations. When complete, Mehas city will transform the skyline on Taipei city’s south side. And these Compro network cameras will provide the residents with a sense of security wherever they are on the complex.
