Comnet appoints new VP of engineering

Danbury, Ct (USA)

Comnet, Communications Networks of Danbury, has appointed Christopher Costa as the company's Vice President of Engineering.
Chris Costa will report directly to Andrew Acquarulo Jr., Comnet President and COO. Until joining Comnet, Costa previously held the role of Director of Engineering at Radiant Communications and Fiber Options/GE Security and has more than 20 years of experience in the development of successful new products for the physical security industry.

Chris will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Comnet engineering department including the development and expansion of the Comnet fibre optic and Ethernet transmission product line and planned engineering department expansion.
“Chris has an exceptional understanding of where the communication market is evolving,” stated Acquarulo. “Chris will be tasked to expand our fibre optic, copper based and Ethernet solutions to truly give Comnet customers a distinct edge.” Acquarulo continued.

Chris Costa has a Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. Chris will be based in the Comnet Corporate offices in Danbury, CT.
