Civintec new RFID NFC desktop reader

After the release of the module device, Civintec is now releasing its new RFID NFC desktop reader unit with the same technology that supports high level command upto 13.56MHz Mifare Plus and Desfire, ISO18092 NFC and SAM slot for higher security applications.
Nowadays, RFID applications are rapidly growing throughout the global markets. The short-range near field community (NFC)is also enjoying a period of rapid growth. Both are involve high potential to bring forward a wealth of exciting new applications together to the markets.

With Civintec extensive experience in developing within the RFID field, these latest developments--the new generation RFID NFC desktop readers--feature support for 13.56Mhz technology, including ISO14443A/B, Mifare, Desfire EV1, Mifare Plus, ISO15693 as well as Sony Felica and ISO18092 NFC peer to peer communication. It can fully support Mifare Desfire EV1 on hardware level and dramatically improved communication speed by a high level commend.

The NFC desktop reader CN6XX(S)-X comes now in a new slimline housing. Its elegant black design gives a new look and feel and makes it suitable with modern PC peripherals. Civintec offers the device either as a USB or RS232 version. It is a plug-and-play device compatible with CCID USB and has high compatibility to work with comprehensive operating systems such as WinCE, Windows and Linux. CN6XX(S)-X also is also supports backward compatibility with all existing versions of Civintec’s 13.56MHz desktop readers.

An SDK (software development kit) is provided for the CN6XX(S)-X, which provides users with flexibility based on various project applications. The SDK software tool includes a powerful informative API to save development time and cost. It can be applied on all of the Civintec readers to avoid increased development cost with future system upgrade.

The CN6XX(S)-X will be first officially demonstated and displayed at the Civintec stand of Cartes 2011 that will be held in Paris from Nov 15-17, 2011.
