Civintec launches low frequency read/write desktop encoder

Civintec has recently launched the LF reader, EL2X0A-U-0G, which is a plug-and-play device featuring read only EM 4100/ 4102 and read / write Atmel T5557/ T5567/ T5577, as well as compatible cards for integrated into Low Frequency proximity applications.
To meet the worldwide growing requirement for multi-application RFID smart card solutions, Civintec Global has designed and developed a new generation 125Khz encoder, EL2X0A-U-0G, to support EM4100/4102, Atmal T5557/ T5567/ T5577 and compatible cards for read/write mode for most low frequency applications such as encoding, personal identification, time & attendance, logical and physical access control, toll collection and parking, vending machines and loyalty schemes to name but a few.

The versatile 125KHz RFID reader EL2X0A-U-0G is designed in a user-friendly and convenient way. It is plug-and-play on Windows OS with HID USB driver interface and features a simulated keyboard function to display card ID number on the cursor position when reading a card. In addition it supports full output formats 10H-10H, 10H8H, 6H10D, 8H10D, 2H4H-8D, 6H8D, 10H14D and 8H-8H as an option and is backwards compatible to all the Civintec EL200 series desktop readers.

An SDK (Software Development Kit) is provided for the EL2X0A-U-0G, which provides user flexibility based on various project applications. The SDK includes a powerful and informative API to save development time and costs. It can be used with all of Civintec’s readers to avoid increased development costs with future system upgrades.
