BXO Log version 2.0 alarm management software

Version 2.0 of the alarm management software BXO Log from BXO Solutions AB includes new features such as support for display of alarms in cordless phones and pagers via ESPA and a total integration with the alarm system VidiFlex.

Through the new site map module, previously released to selected beta testers, it is now possible to display the alarms graphically on a map or building plan. This makes it very easy for the staff to find their way to the right location. New staff can also find the person in need of assistance more quickly.
Support for multiple systems is another new feature, which means that a virtually unlimited number of different alarm systems kan be handled by one and the same computer. Alarm type translation ensures that the systems in spite of their differences can work together.
The new ESPA module does not only make paging possible, it can also be used to receive alarms. Many alarm systems have ESPA compatible ports. COBS DECT systems with positioning can be connected and the alarms can be displayed with both position and pre-positioning using the site map module.
As for alarm presentation in portable devices, it is now possible to control and customise the display of alarms in great detail through an intuitive drag&drop interface. The user is also entirely in control of which mobile units that are to receive the alarms through a flexible tool for alarm filtering using groups with filter inheritance.
The number of pagers/handsets that can be handled by BXO Log is limited only by the hardware capabilities of the computer. Likewise, the number of filtering rules and shitfs is also unlimited.
