Brickcom unveils new outdoor bullet cameras

Hsinchu, Taiwan

Brickcom, a leading network video manufacturer in the IP surveillance industry, is releasing the latest version of the company's Outdoor Bullet IP network cameras adding to the company's growing portfolio.
The V5 new design includes a variety of new hardware and software features, and is the result of the joint efforts from Brickcom's R&D team and their customers from all parts of the world. From the hardware point of view, the V5 Outdoor Bullet cameras come with new enhancements of IR illumination distance (max. 80 feet or 25 metres), real-time clock, temperature alarm, and AC24V power input.

The real-time clock is embedded for the camera to maintain accurate time even if the power is off for days, while the temperature alarm is designed to respond to any abnormal ambient temperatures and notify the user. The added AC24V power input is designed to provide increased flexibility in choosing the power sources at installation.

From a software point of view, the V5 Outdoor Bullet cameras offer on-screen display for Brickcom's 'Focuseasy' feature via the TV-out interface. This offers the user clear visual information in the 'Focuseasy' process.  The V5 Outdoor Bullet cameras are designed with built-in IR focus shift for enhancing the IR corrective lens and delivering the clearest image during the day and at night (available for the motorised-lens cameras only).  Each V5-series camera supports an SDXC memory card for on-site storage.
