Bookings for Intersec 2009 up by 30 percent again

Intersec's forecast of a record attendance of 950 exhibitors from 60 countries is more than likely to be even surpassed as bookings for Intersec 2009 are currently up by 30 percent compared to the same time last year.
The show will cover more than 47,000 sqm which means that it will for the first time occupy the Dubai World Trade Centre almost completely. More than 20,000 professional (trade only) visitors and delegates are expected from around 100 countries.
The Intersec 2008 visitor break down by countries showed that more than 52 percent of the visitors came from overseas. The organisers aim at increasing the number of visitors from the MENA Region (17 percent), Europe (17 percent) and Asia/Far East (12 percent) and have added South Africa as one of their additional focus markets for visitor canvassing.
