Bjorn-Erik Jorgensen appointed as General Manager for AR Media Denmark

AR Media International is now establishing a firm foothold in the Danish market with AR Media Denmark offices located in Greve, just south of the capital, Copenhagen. The business will be run by Bjorn-Erik Jorgensen who has been recently appointed to the newly created position of General Manager.
Bjorn-Erik recently left his position of Nordic Marketing Director for ADI-Alarmsystem, which he had occupied for 19 years. Now, he is embarking on a new challenge with responsibility for AR Media’s business in Denmark. His official title is General Manager for AR Media Denmark.

“When we heard that Bjorn-Erik had left his job at ADI-Alarmsystem we were quick to contact him. He is perfect for this role at AR Media, and his experience and connections within the security industry are of course extremely valuable to us. His passion for security work and AR Media’s corporate culture is a perfect match,” says Lennart Alexandrie, CEO, AR Media International.

Bjorn-Erik Jorgensen is equally enthusiastic.

”As General Manager for AR Media in Denmark I very much look forward to working with the security industry in all areas, from producers, distributors, installers to consultants and end-users,” he says. “I am sure that AR Media is able to make a valuable contribution to all the players in this chain, who together make up the security industry in Scandinavia”.

Bjorn-Erik also stress AR Media’s product mix as one of its greatest assets. Print media such as Detektor Scandinavia and SecurityUser, and electronic media including SecurityUser.dk and SecurityWorldHotel.com combined with activities such as SecTech and SecurityUserEXPO creates a unique portfolio, which no one else on the Danish market can offer.

One of the main challenges for Bjorn-Erik Jorgensen will be to turn the SecurityUserEXPO event in Copenhagen into a huge success. The event takes place from the 19th to 21st of September 2011.

“I am really looking forward to the event. Hosting it in Carlsberg’s historic old brewery gives us the opportunity to attract high profile visitors from every area of the market, especially end-users,” he says.
