Figures from the post show report reconfirmed Intersec’s status as the leading security, safety and fire protection trade event in the MENA region.

More than 19,500 trade-only visitors came from 106 countries to attend Intersec 2012, which is an impressive 18% increase on the previous show in 2011.

More than 2,000 brands and products were showcased by 909 exhibitors from 52 countries, showing a 15% increase in exhibitor numbers compared to 2011.

According to the organisers, numerous deals were sealed on site between the key buyers and decision makers from various parts of the world, and many local and international manufacturers chose Intersec as a platform for launching new products and their promotional campaigns, as well as for announcing new manufacturing facilities.
