Battery powered lock and access control system

Brighton, UK

Paxton Access announce the launch of Easyprox compact, an all-in-one battery powered lock and access control system.

Easyprox compact has a battery power source and consequently takes less time to install than conventional standalone systems because it does not require mains wiring. "The need for a self contained access control unit, reader and lock was evident. Easyprox compact, the first in a series from Paxton, meets this need. When you consider what you get in the product box it's an extremely economical solution for internal doors that don't have an accessible power supply." says Adam Stroud sales and marketing director.

Adam believes that it's possible to secure at least eight doors in a day; something that was unthinkable prior to Easyprox compact's launch. "Installers of Paxton Access equipment will have an advantage when tendering quotes because reduced installation time means lower labour costs," says Adam.

Easyprox compact is suitable for a host of applications, from halls of residence and sports clubs to cleaning cupboards and office stores. And, since it uses standalone token packs that are fully compatible with Switch2 and Net2 systems, it can be used on both new and existing installations."
