Aver releases E series NVRs for retail

Taipei, Taiwan

Aver has enriched its range of  NVR and Hybrid NVRs by offering improved system performance on its latest E Series, compromising of the 8CH E1008 and E1008H and the 16CH E5016and E5016H. The updated E Series is the ideal choice for retail solutions due to its RAID storage capabilities, easy POS integration, new performance improvements and strong recording capabilities.

The E Series NVR and Hybrid NVRs are ideally suited to form part of a retail solution for several reasons. By supporting easy point of sale (POS) integration, users can connect POS systems without the need for any additional data processing devices. Complementing this, the Posviewer allows users to quickly search live and recorded transactions allowing them to find important information faster. Additionally, the hybrid devices which form part of Aver's E Series make integration with existing analogue systems seamless. Aver's latest advanced camera features include tamper detection, missing object and suspicious object and can all be configured directly from the E Series NVR and Hybrid NVRs.

The E5016 and E5016H offer PC-like preview performance of up to 2M at 120fps and an impressive throughput rate of up to 120 Mbps recording all channels using tri-codec compression. They support up to 5 megapixels per channel and a total of 32 megapixels for all channels. The compact, lightweight design of the E1008 and E1008H allow users to save on space and is easily portable making it the perfect solution for deployment in small to mid-sized retail stores. Aver's 16 channel devices currently supporting RAID 0, 1 and 10 and the E1008 8 channel can be outfitted with a built-in HDD and additional storage can be achieved through the e-SATA port.

The CM5000 CMS was designed for use with the E Series can now be displayed across four monitors making this one of the most manageable central management systems on the market. In addition, being able to connect up to 1000 NVR and Hybrid NVRs ensures that users will not run out of space. The remote schedule backup function allows the user to automatically backup data at regular scheduled intervals, adding extra layers of storage security to valuable data. Remote access will allow notification to selected users of an incident outside of the control room in the event of an emergency and for them to review the relevant incident.

The Aver's E Series NVR and Hybrid NVRs, combined with the company's CM5000 CMS, have been designed to fulfill the demands of a wide range of projects which occur within the retail sector to offer what the company believes to be a first class retail surveillance solution.
