Arknav ECG GPS life safety solution for senior care

Taipei, Taiwan

Arknav, a Taiwan based GPS Tracker manufacturer is launching a personal ECG life safety solution that is specifically designed for employees and elderly people's safety.
According to a prediction that, in 2035, 1/3 of Europeans may be more than 65 years old, plus the effects of the recent recession, effective health care services will become more and more important to both service providers and patients.

The ECG life safety solution is a kind of telecare system that allows frail older people or people with chronic illnesses to be remotely monitored, or to monitor themselves, at home. Such systems can be used as a means of controlling the costs of health care services. Combining self-care, symptom surveillance, and social support, this type of telecare system can be used effectively to reduce costs.

The telecare solution has integrated GPS tracking, fall/impact detection and ECG pad that provides correct positioning and early warnings to shorten response time upon emergencies occurring. With the unique ECG signal noise deduction algorithm and motion artefacts removal technologies, the system carriers perform day-to-day activities whilst monitoring ECG.

The system not only incorporates GPS tracking, but also has a built-in short range wireless module for indoor emergency reports for hospital care, home care, as well as for patient and resident management.
