The Colourscan uvss is an intelligent under vehicle search system built to automatically scan and search for threats hidden under vehicle undercarriage. The device greatly speeds up inspection and vehicle clearances time and can handle screening of all size vehicles including trucks and buses.

The unique system offers more protection to security operators as the vehicle scanning can be performed at a distance away from the monitoring area through a computer screen. Rapid inspection of the undercarriage is done by reviewing the high-resolution colour image captured by the Colourscan.

The Colourscan can also work as a vehicle access system by capturing photo images of the driver and vehicle, the vehicle entry date, time, entrance gate number and more. These data are logged with the uvss image for increased vehicle access surveillance.
