In addition to video surveillance, logistics processes are of crucial importance for medium-sized German companies because the systems are also used to optimise processes and improve efficiency — a business area known as "Value Imaging."
As well as focusing on partners in video security, Hoffmann is therefore also adapting the sales structure to enable a greater focus to be placed on end customers in courier, express and package services, in contract logistics and in land transportation. Due to the increased need for information and advice, the end customer in the logistics industry in particular is to be approached with more focus, presence and visibility.
"Many existing video security customers and logistics managers are not aware of just how much they can optimise and save by visualising processes, and how quickly these investments will pay for themselves," says Hoffmann. The delivery route via operator partners remains an integral part of the project process. Hoffmann explains: "We need our operator partners for the implementation of projects on site. The combination of our services provides end customers with optimum complete solutions that deliver expertise, technology and service."
Using agile interfaces, Geutebrück solutions combine customer-specific metadata such as time codes, automatically recognised number plate data or process data with the relevant images. In this way, for instance, intruders can be detected on the premises and proof of damage, errors or misuse can be provided at any point along the supply chain. This enables the appropriate action to be taken, causes to be analyzed and processes to be documented in a conclusive manner.
