A new type of residential community is now becoming very popular in Poland. This community in Krakow has its own internal cable TV, internet and security system. The security system includes access control and video surveillance. Since the community covers a large area with long distances between each installation site, it is difficult to install traditional analog cameras with coaxial cables. Therefore, the community decided to use an IP based solution as the security surveillance system for the community.

ACTi's Polish distributor- Dipol and the polish system integrator (Telcom) provided ACTi's Unify solution (IP camera + NVR software) to finish the project installation. The project was completed using ACTi D&N IP Box camera (CAM-5321) with ACTi free NVR software (professional edition). The cameras are located in critical surveillance spots (Intersections & community boarders) to ensure the safety of the residents. There are 2 dedicated guard posts which control the entering vehicles and monitor the video from the IP camera for 24 hours surveillance.
