Access control which matches the design of a building

Silkeborg, Denmark

A serious protection of a building with access control does not have to be with keypads that destroys the general impression. Key 7 has developed a range of access points with focus on a simple, Danish design.

The keyboard is designed by Nicolaj Haarup, who has named it areo. Aero is available in two ranges:

- The A-Range with technology for stand alone-installations and networked with other Key 7 products.
- The X-Range with technology for integration with 3rd party products.

Both ranges are available in black or white with a luminous red/green circle and grey figures.

"For many companies their buildings and premises are an integrated part of their image and marketing. Wondering why so many companies use security systems that are not at all integrated in their elegant surroundings I decided to design the aero range" says Nicolaj Haarup, the founder and managing director of Key 7.

"Many companies protect their buildings against burglaries, because their insurance companies demand it. While electronic access control is a choice that the companies are ready to invest in. Here the aero range matches perfectly" Mr Haarup concludes.
