Abus releases new digital transmission set

Mulhausen, Germany

The new digital video transmission set TVAC15100 from Abus makes it possible for analogue cameras to transmit video and audio signals via wireless technology.
A wireless transmitter and a wireless receiver enable convenient installation of analogue cameras without the need for expensive wiring and they are an ideal addition to existing video surveillance systems.

The set contains a digital wireless transmitter, which transmits video and audio signals wirelessly at 2.4 GHz to the receiver module. This is a transmission frame rate of 30 frames per second at D1 resolution, that is, 720 x 576 pixels. Faults and interference can be fully avoided due to the conversion into digital signals. Data encryption guarantees a protected transmission path.

With the new digital video transmission set, analogue cameras transmit data signals in a reliable and secure manner with no need for tiresome wiring. Moreover, existing analogue video systems can be extended quickly and easily – simply connect the camera to the transmitter and the receiver to the recorder and the job is finished. This is particularly useful in response to security management for building modifications, such as a new car park or extension, other requirements, without needing to replace the entire surveillance system.
