Abus introduces the Secvest IP app for a remote control solution

Mulhausen, Germany

The Secvest IP can now be activated or deactivated via the Abus Secvest IP app via app a solution designed for checking the Secvest IP system status.
The wireless alarm system can now also be operated through mobile Apple devices, such as the iPhone, iPod or iPad. The Abus Secvest IP app is available now in the Apple App Store.

One of the main functions of the app is the worldwide status check of the Secvest IP alarm system. If the user is not sure whether the system was activated when leaving the house, a quick glance at the mobile Apple device will provide the answer. The app can be used to activate and deactivate the system, and also call up the event log. It is also possible to hide individual zones from the surveillance area. An optional password protects the app and Secvest IP from unauthorised access.

The special highlight of the app is the ability to control wireless sockets integrated in the alarm system. Any plugged-in device (e.g. lamps) can then be controlled using the app. The relay output can also be switched using the app.

The Secvest IP Lite app is now available free-of-charge for test purposes and any users who are still undecided. Connection settings cannot be saved using this version. The Secvest IP app is available now in the Apple App Store for the Abus Secvest IP wireless alarm system (FUAA10010).
