50% of 10 largest US cities deploy BRS

Houston, Tx (USA)

Behavioral Recognition Systems, Inc. (BRS Labs) has won a $2.5 million order for more than one thousand video feeds in one of the ten biggest metropolitan areas in the United States. This purchase represents the latest enterprise-class software order for this technology.
"Our Aisight product is now deployed in five of the ten largest cities in the United States, and we are actively negotiating with multiple other major municipalities," said John Frazzini, President of BRS Labs. "Our customers needed a solution that could analyse video data across thousands of feeds and focus quickly on the most urgent areas of concern. Aisight's combination of accuracy, scalability, and manageability is something our customers know they can't find anywhere else."

This latest order involved Vector Resources, Inc., a security integrator and value-added reseller for Aisight. According to Jeff Zukerman, Executive Vice President at Vector Resources, "This software purchase represents another step in the market's move to enterprise-grade acceptance of automated behavioural recognition and real-time improvements in safety, security, and situational awareness. Even better, it's just the first stage. We anticipate expanding the Aisight deployment to almost 5000 video cameras and other sensors before this project is complete."

BRS Labs' behavioural recognition technology operates seamlessly across multiple locations and scales to thousands of sensors, making it, according to the company, the only practical solution for large-scale safety and security deployments. It builds real-time alerts by teaching itself to recognise unexpected behaviours within data streams generated by video surveillance cameras and other sensors. This self-learning, smarter approach helps users make better, faster safety, and security decisions without overwhelming staff with large numbers of non-critical alerts.
