Inovonics launches wearable duress card

Inovonics has released a new wearable panic device with the introduction of a new Duress Card. Featuring sleek and lightweight styling designed for user comfort, the EN2242 Duress Card incorporates a host of new features and capabilities along with the Inovonics wireless technology.

Ideal for use across a broad range of education, healthcare, corporate, industrial, retail, and hospitality applications, the new Duress Card provides users with the ability to instantaneously report incidents or potentially harmful events. The sleek new form factor is packed with a unique combination of performance features including:

  • The ability to activate up to three different alarm conditions, allowing first responders to quickly react with the most appropriate response.
  • Activation affirmation indicators including LEDs and haptic vibration to silently alert the wearer that an alarm button has been pressed.
  • Inovonics Echostream wireless transmission technology utilising multi-channel signaling over different frequencies and long distances without interference in commercially constructed facilities.
  • Location and real-time tracking capabilities available when paired with integrated security systems leveraging Inovonics cloud-based Advanced Location services to help first responders pinpoint precisely where an event is taking place.
  • A waterproof casing allowing the device to be worn in a variety of environments where they may be exposed to water or moisture.
  • And a sealed long-life battery to ensure continuous operation at times when it’s needed most.

Designed for both new deployments and seamless upgrades, the Duress Card ships exclusively in packs of five for efficient rollout across classrooms, departments, or entire facilities.
