AS Brann og Sikringservice was founded in 1981 by Gunnar Fjellet and was followed by Lås og Beslag AS, founded in 1995. Today, the business is run by sons Odd Fjellet and Torbjørn Fjellet. Together, the businesses offer a comprehensive portfolio of security solutions, including access control, mechanical and electromechanical locking, door automation and intercom, as well as fire safety. With specialised services and dedicated teams, they have consolidated their positions as experts in burglary and fire protection solutions and as reliable suppliers in the region. The customer base consists of public sector customers (hospitals and schools), as well as businesses, primarily property owners and managers.

In recent years, the businesses have shown impressive growth thanks to successful strategic and operational efforts and strong customer relationships. In 2022, the companies had a turnover of NOK 45 million. The 18 employees will continue to be based in the two offices in Porsgrunn and Skien.
