Motorola opened its first office in Bogota in 1994 with three employees focused on the sale of professional commercial radios. Today, the company's skilled professionals support public safety agencies and businesses from Colombia, Ecuador, Central America and the Caribbean with its expanded ecosystem of communications, video security, access control and command centre technologies, all designed to enable safety and security.

Motorola Solutions customers in Colombia include the Ministry of Defense, National Police, Secretariat of Safety, Coexistence and Justice, INPEC, Aeronautica Civil Colombiana, Ecopetrol, Drummond and G4S.
