Ksenia heads to The Security Event at the NEC

Ripatransone, Italy and Birmingham, UK

Ksenia will be displaying a full portfolio of products at The Security Event next month.

Ksenia Security will be exhibiting at The Security Event trade show, which will be taking place in Birmingham next month, from the 5th to 7th April, 2020.

Described as being "designed by the industry for the industry," The Security Event returns to the Birmingham NEC over 5 - 7 April 2022, to once again reunite installers, integrators, manufacturers, distributors and end users.

The exhibition will aim to showcase the world’s leading security brands, offering some of the best opportunities to source the latest products, technologies and solutions, whilst networking and meeting face-to-face with key experts from across the industry.

At the show, Ksenia will be presenting its new devices for security and home & building automation, including the new keypads Ergo-X and Ergo-T pro, the external sirens Vox-C and Vox-M, the company's Micro Poli, a multifunctional wireless magnetic contact, and all the integrations with Milestone, Avigilon, Control4, Crestron and RTI, and also the new version of the Ksenia Secureweb.

The Ergo- X is a touchscreen keyboard that can be positioned both inside and outside the home, thanks to the high level of protection against atmospheric agents, and more, that the product possesses. It is in fact designed to withstand any weather conditions, even pouring rain. It has membrane keys that are hidden when the keyboard is at rest and that are visible simply by approaching the hand, achievable with the presence of a built-in proximity sensor. In addition, Ergo-X has an RFID reader for reading the Ksenia mini-tag: a small key that is able to make the system perform specific actions, simply by bringing it close to the reader. To confirm that the command has been successful, Ergo-X has an LED and a buzzer that return a light and / or sound feedback when a certain scenario is requested or, more simply, to check the status of the safety system. (armed, disarmed, partial).

In addition, the Ergo-T Pro keyboard, according to Ksenia, represents a step forward in the evolution of touch screens. With a 10.1 ”display and a offering almost unmatched clarity, the Ergo-T Pro makes everything more fluid and bright, to optimise the user experience both day and night. It has an elegant and modern design and, if required it can be recessed into the wall to make it even more discreet and integrated with the decor. To ensure simplicity and consistency in the use of the various interfaces, the Ergo-T Pro also has the same graphic type that is found on a smartphone, in the free Lares 4.0 App.

Vox-M will also be on show, and is a most complete and equipped variant, based on advanced technology. It is able to reproduce, in addition to mono or two-tone sound, the vocal messages previously configured by the installer; it has automatic monitoring for battery status and there is a built-in temperature sensor, with the possibility of displaying it in real time on the keyboards and on the Lares 4.0 App. It is offers a robust design to cope with any attempted damage by an attacker: sabotage, foam, drilling, opening and attempted removal from the wall. It has 2 RGB LEDs and 1 central LED that can be used as lighting.

Vox-C on the other hand, has simplified electronics and offers the guarantee of high-power reproduction of the alarm sound, mono or bi-tonal; protection against tampering attempts, such as cutting wires, opening the lid and removing it from the wall; the predisposition for the anti-perforation tamper; the presence of 3 orange LEDs; temperature detection and automatic battery monitoring.

Finally, the Micro Poli is marketed as the most compact wireless sensor on the market and with a huge added factor. In fact, with its advanced technology, the Micro Polis represent much more than a simple magnetic contact: it has anti-masking to detect the opening of doors and windows; it is an inertial sensor, for the detection of increasing vibrations up to the breaking of glass and windows; is able to accurately detect the opening angle of any type of window. This last function is extremely useful in the case of vasistas, tilt-and-turn windows, etc. In fact, being a state-of-the-art sensor, it incorporates a three-axis accelerometer that measures the angle of inclination of the frame on which it is installed, thus generating an alarm if the frame exceeds the programmed inclination angle.
