Intersec Saudi Arabia postponed until next year

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Intersec Saudi Arabia, initially scheduled to take place from 12 – 14 September 2021 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center (RFECC), is being moved to September 2022.

According to the organisers, the show was moved to next year because the Kingdom’s international travel restrictions still remain in place, impacting the ability to plan ahead for the show. The decision was taken after extensive consultation with key trade partners, exhibitors and supporters of the event.

Intersec Saudi Arabia is supported by key government entities including the Saudi Ministry of Interior, Saudi Civil Defense, and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), together with the industry at large.

The organisers, the UAE arm of Messe Frankfurt, in a statement said that Saudi Arabia is the largest and fastest growing market for security, safety, and fire protection in the Middle East, and that they value and understand the importance of Intersec Saudi Arabia within the Kingdom. "We are committed to working closely with our key partners to help accelerate growth within the market and achieve Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision."

"We remain connected with our security and fire communities nationally and internationally through different physical and digital platforms, paving the way for us to deliver an even stronger edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia for exhibitors and key buyers to re-connect once again," concludes the statement.
