Joining the newly formed Northern and Eastern Europe region, the new appointments will focus on the UK & Ireland to ensure continued delivery of exceptional partner and customer support.

Joining the Axis UK & Ireland team will be:

Simon Emmons - Sales Manager - UK & Ireland

In his role as Axis Sales Manager, UK & Ireland, Simon will be exploring new opportunities not only within physical security, but also for the purposes of business intelligence and operational efficiency using the video data drawn from network cameras. Simon joins Axis with a wealth of experience gained in director level channel positions, and having managed extensive partnerships within specification sales programmes across both multinational and local SME business.

Through Axis deep industry expertise and innovative analytics, we will be looking to unlock solutions not previously possible with an initial focus on Critical Infrastructure, and City, Transport & Traffic projects where there is huge potential to make a tangible difference,” commented Simon.

Justin Hawkesford - Manager - Sales Engineering & Training

Justin brings over 20 years’ experience in the security industry to the position of Axis Sales Engineering & Training Manager for the UK and Ireland. He will be supporting the Axis UK sales team to unlock opportunities in the traditional security market, and exploring concepts outside the market such as operational efficiency.

Justin added: “I will be looking to provide end users and partners with insights into how Axis products can be used for more than just security. The focus will be reinforcing Axis position as the trusted advisors when it comes to video and audio solutions, particularly around how to leverage analytics and AI to monitor industrial processes.”

Additional changes

There have also been a number of additions and changes in marketing, events and territory sales including Natalie Bevins, Marketing Manager for UK and Ireland; Darren Anderson, Territory Sales Manager; while Daniel John and Miranda Minns have both taken on new Territory Sales Manager roles within the business.
