Network access control from Urmet Group

Although designed as a cost effective access control solution for applications such as apartment blocks, Passan, the new access control system introduced into the UK by the Urmet Group, offers advanced functionality normally offered by more expensive systems.

Passan can be remotely controlled and monitored over IP and can work in conjunction with combined technology access control cards - Proximity to allow users to gain access and RF to control car park barriers.

"The idea behind Passan is to offer installers and end-users an easy to install and easy to operate access control system," says Mark Hagger, Urmet Group's sales director "Its capability should not however be underestimated as it can for example control up to 192 card readers and 2700 users per site"
