Optex nominated for 2023 Detektor International Award

Optex Redscan mini-Pro series has been nominated for the prestigious security industry prize Detektor International Award 2023, under the category Alarm & Detection.

The overall winners will be announced at the Detektor International Award 2023 prize ceremony on the 24th of October at Stockholm International Fair, in conjunction with the Sectech Sweden exhibition.

The Detektor International Award was introduced in 2000 to reward manufacturers of products and services that stand up to the criteria of outstanding innovation and contribution to the advancement of the security industry.

The prestige associated with Detektor International Awards is derived from the fact that there is no formal entry process. Instead, each year, the Detektor International Awards panel of jurors analyse the security market to discover, nominate and vote the products which demonstrate the most innovation, versatility and user-friendliness.

The Redscan mini-Pro creates virtual detection walls or planes across 20x20 metres at 95 degrees and analyses a moving object's size, location and distance to determine an intrusion. Designed to work effectively in both outdoor and indoor environments, now with video camera module for alarm verification and recording of events.

With a detection range of 20m x 20m 95 degrees, it is ideal to protect high-value assets and high-security buildings and perimeters. An built-in camera module (available in model RLS-2020V) with auto-adjustable IR LED, allows for alarm verification and post-event analysis even at nighttime or in badly illuminated areas. In addition, it is compatible with ONVIF Profile-S and has additional outputs and protocols allowing seamless integration into an existing security infrastructure.
