The Dexter 212 is equipped with the Sony Effio image sensor, and provides sharp, clear video images with up to 650TVL and 976 x 494 pixels resolution produced by the autofocus lens. It is designed with WDR enhancement and IR-cut filter to improve the video quality in challenging lighting conditions, 30 IR LEDs allow the Dexter 212 to monitor in the darkness at up to 30m.

The 10x optical zoom allows the user to focus on far away objects easily. The 360° per second panning allows for a quick coverage of large areas and the 180° tilt capability makes it easy to customise the viewing angle.

This camera is IP66 rated, it withstands damage from the elements for versatile indoor or outdoor installations. With the wall- and ceiling-mountable bracket, the camera can easily be mounted in an area that is well concealed. To enable local or remote operation, the camera's movement can be controlled remotely from a compatible mobile phone, tablet or PC via the Mashen series DVR.
