Users now have the capability to control door locks, CCTV security systems or simply activate porch lights, all through a simple keypad interface.

This keypad provides an ideal economical solution for access points where a mere pin algorithm is sufficient to secure access to other devices. Even if the access point is exposed to harsh or inclement conditions these keypads have a weather resistant and rugged design ensuring effective use even in poor weather conditions. This is because the capacitive touch keypad model has no moving parts allowing moisture or dust access to sensitive electronics. It is rated to IP 67 against dust and water ingress, ensuring flawless operation even down to -40 C.

This keypad model with pressure-sensitive actuators also protects its inner electronics with an epoxy casting, only requiring occasional easy cleaning. More importantly in severe low temperature conditions, this model enables the user to keep their gloves on whilst typing a pin in cold weather. Since all Idesco keypads also tie-in auxiliary devices, for addiional convenience, the user can then key in a command to turn on a porch light or CCTV system for example.
