Panasonic Nubo in action

World's first 4G mobile monitoring camera

Panasonic security products and projects have received three nominations at next month’s Ifsec awards at the London Hilton Park Lane Hotel.

The WV-SFV781L 4K dome camera, launched at Ifsec 2015 as part of an integrated True 4K surveillance system, has been shortlisted for the Camera Equipment of the Year Award.

In the same category, also shortlisted is Nubo, the world’s first 4G monitoring camera, which was introduced at Mobile World Congress in March 2015.

Walsall House Group (whg), an installation that was completed in August 2014, has been shortlisted for the Security Project of the Year award. The project saw the installation of 380 Panasonic surveillance cameras covering 17 high rise blocks. Subsequently, whg has seen a significant reduction in the level of local crime and disorder.

Karen Sangha, Field Marketing Manager at Panasonic Security Systems, said, “It’s great that we have had three nominations and that the security division is being recognised for its excellence. We are looking forward to the awards ceremony, and to being judged against the best the industry has to offer.”
