Ifsec India 2010 relocates to Mumbai

IFSEC India 2009 proved to be the most successful to date when 11,447 security professionals from all over the globe descended on Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India between 29 - 31 October.


Opened by the Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit, the show was jam packed with more than 250 internationally renowned exhibitors and hours of educational content.

Acting as a catalyst to the rapidly expanding commercial security market in India, this year's exhibition was the most extensive in its history. Leading industry names including: G4S, Honeywell, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Pansonic, Satel, Samsung Electronics, Alba Urmet, Turbo, HIK Vision and Sony India presented their latest developments and technologies and were on hand to offer tailored support and advice.

The event also featured free-of-charge technical seminars hosted by the likes of 3M, G4S, HIK Vision, Sony Electronics (Singapore) and US Commercial Services among others and the inaugural Counter Terror India Conference.

The Counter Terror India Conference, was packed with practical advice and solutions in the battle against terrorism throughout India. Opened by Mr Don Randall, Head of Security, Bank of England and officially inaugurated by Mr Gopal Pillai, Secretary to Government India, Ministry of Home, it split into two streams where delegates then had the opportunity to hear security best practice and case studies surrounding transport and border control and infrastructure and buildings.

IFSEC India 2010 will be co-located with Internal Security India and Firex India and is relocating to Mumbai, India from 23 - 25 November 2010.
