Equitel has supplied, installed and configured this tunnel multi services network which includes 59 x N950 field managed industrial switches, and 10 Cisco L3 switches for routing and management.

This network is configured in 8 redundant rings managed by L3 core stacked switches. The network provides service to more than 60 IP surveillance cameras, 47 emergency roadside telephones and a great number of IP devices such as port servers, PLCs, etc.

Furthermore, Equitel emergency telephone systems have been installed in total including the Equitell VoIP module E301, which has been used for the tunnel PA system and emergency call transmissions, such calls are managed by a SIP telephone.

In addition the new system incorporates, the new Equitel SOS phones management software (CEPS). This software allows different users to manage the system, map configuration, recording of calls, public address diffusion, and many other features.
