Biometric solutions excel even in difficult environmental conditions
Albuquerque, NM
“Throughout Israel, Identytech terminals and related automated identity solutions with integrated Lumidigm fingerprint sensors are being used in a full array of projects with government agencies responsible for automated passenger processing at sea, land and air crossings and other citizen registration applications,” attests Ephram Yeashoua, Identytech president & CEO. “Because of multispectral imaging technology’s outstanding ability to perform in challenging applications, we have deployed thousands of terminals employing Lumidigm multispectral sensors in high profile applications around the globe.”
“Not only does Identytech distribute and support our technology directly but they are also deeply involved in field testing for Lumidigm, which has led to multiple new applications for civil ID, physical and logical access control as well as the creation of single sign-on solutions based on multispectral imaging technology,” reports Seth Miller, Lumidigm director of business development. “Identytech has shown customers, some of whom had formerly tried biometrics without success, how multispectral biometrics will indeed work in dry, dirty, humid and other difficult conditions both indoors and out.”
Identytech will be exhibiting its products, including two new readers – the modular IDT Access and the IDT Wallmount, a full identification center in a terminal based on a secured embedded solution that can operate as a standalone solution or as part of a enterprise-wide network at the Lumidigm stand at the Biometrics Exhibition and Conference to be held this week at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, London.
