Azena makes its debut in Essen

Munich and Essen, Germany

This week, Azena is attending Security Essen for the first time in 2022, where the company is exhibiting one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing open platform marketplace for smart cameras and flexible, innovative video analytics solutions. Security and Safety Things GmbH, the legal company behind Azena, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH and is part of Bosch’s strategic development of new digital growth markets.

Apps available from the Azena Application Store from third-party developers will be on display, demonstrating solutions in an interactive “city centre” environment, including perimeter protection, fire and intrusion detection and public safety solutions. These apps are among the more than 100 AI-enabled, ready-to-use analytic applications that can be downloaded from the Application Store onto smart cameras from multiple manufacturers and form factors and flexibly combined and customised for tailor-made solutions.

"Azena continues its robust 2022 trade show presence with its Security Essen debut,” said Sven März, chief sales and marketing officer, Azena. “We are excited to attend the exhibition this year to showcase our wide variety of AI-enabled analytic applications that provide solutions to a growing number of vertical markets, and the operational insights that this technology has the capability to unlock."

In addition to Azena’s presence on the show floor, Jose Agrela, Business Development Manager at Azena will deliver a presentation entitled, “How to start leveraging AI video analytics for and beyond security” at the security experts forum today. The presentation will explore emerging use cases for smart cameras and examine how security professionals can harness AI video analytic applications to add value to their organisation beyond security.

The Azena Application Store will also be on display at the Vivotek stand, showing the Azena platform in use on Vivotek cameras and other edge devices.
