Award-winning global security manufacturer Gallagher Security’s Controller 7000 (C7000) has been named Outstanding New Security Product at the India and South Asia OSPAs held in New Delhi on March 14th.

Released in November 2023, this is the first award win for Gallagher’s C7000, the latest addition to their Controller suite.

UL certified and capable of managing all localised access control, intruder alarms, perimeter security, business automation, and logic needs for organisations, the C7000 represents a new generation of Gallagher Security technology, offering streamlined upgrades and advanced cyber security. Building on the incredible groundwork introduced with the Controller 7000 Single Door released in February 2023, the C7000 gives users an opportunity to leverage their hardware and firmware to build a platform designed to catapult their organisation into the future.

Jim Rayner, Value Owner at Gallagher who led production on the C7000 says, “We are proud to be the recipients of the Outstanding New Security Product at the India OSPAs in New Delhi. This award is testament and credit to everyone involved in bringing this exciting new product to market. Gallagher is passionate about pushing cyber security to the next level so that we can protect what matters most. The Controller 7000 really pushes the limits of what can be achieved when products are designed with security baked in right from the beginning."

In a rapidly evolving digital age, following basic cyber hygiene is no longer enough – businesses need a solution that is prepared for tomorrow’s cyber environment, today. With enhanced hardware and cyber security baked in from inception, the C7000 is up for the challenge. Powerful IMX8 System-on chip and an NXP Edgelock secure element ensure a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and offers to guarantee software authenticity on each device, and with a ten times more powerful microprocessor, the C7000 executes access decisions twenty-five times faster, resyncing the cardholder database in half the time.

Utilising feedback directly from End Users, Channel Partners, and Consultants, Gallagher’s product team developed the C7000’s key features to make upgrading easier than ever.

The C7000 has been purposely designed with the same footprint, wiring, and ports as the Controller 6000, providing the power to take advantage of the newest technologies and easily scale as a business grows.
