Winsted launches Prestige Monitor Wall

Hard on the heels of the Winsted newly updated and expanded website, the control room specialist has also unveiled a significant addition to its comprehensive range of technical furniture, which includes consoles, equipment racks and multimedia desks.

The company's latest product is an innovative monitor wall specifically designed for flat-screen monitors in a range of sizes from 17-19in diameter right up to 42in. The 'open' design of the Prestige Monitor Wall combines space saving configurations with a more modern 21st Century look.
"The open design we've adopted doesn't enclose the monitors, which makes its compact dimensions suitable for both smaller control rooms and those using IP transmission systems," says Winsted's General Manager, Charles Evett.
"The monitor wall has an aluminium construction for a combination of strength, lightness and pleasing appearance - providing 'future-proof' opportunities for inexpensive changes and additions to meet changing monitoring requirements. Cable management is also included within the design and users can specify from a choice of colours to suit their surroundings."
Winsted's Prestige Monitor Wall is included on a feature-packed CD-Rom produced by the company, containing a variety of useful data and illustrations available free to installers, end-users, system integrators and consultants.
It includes Winsted's full 2006 equipment catalogue, along with a library of photographic quality colour rendered images plus 3-dimensional 'walk-through' moving animations, giving viewers graphic illustrations of how Winsted units would suit their requirements in-situ. Also on the CD-Rom is a helpful document discussing the ISO 11064 standard for ergonomic design of control rooms and its relevance to control room design.
