Wavestore appoints new managers for EMEA and India

London, UK

Wavestore continues to grow its sales team with news that Pete Ward had been recruited as EMEA Account Manager and Shashi K. Yadav as Business Development Manager for the Indian Subcontinent.

Pete will be working closely with installers, system integrators and Wavestore distributors throughout Africa, the Middle East and the UK to identify new business opportunities for the company’s open platform video recording and management solutions.

"We have been enjoying significant success in the EMEA region over recent years with 2014 sales forecast to reach record levels,” said Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore "We are therefore delighted to have been able to recruit the services of an individual of Pete’s calibre who will be able to help us build on this success and ensure we maintain our position as one of the fastest growing independent manufacturers operating within the electronic security sector.”

Immediately prior to joining Wavestore, Pete performed a similar role for data and video specialists, Teleste, where he had worked since 2005. Commenting on his appointment, Pete said: "Wavestore has established an enviable reputation for providing world class robust, reliable and flexible VMS solutions. Most importantly, the company is totally committed to an open platform philosophy and this creates opportunities for customers to achieve a seamless integrated security solution that can incorporate a wide range of third party technologies and systems, regardless of the size or complexity of the project. I am looking forward to promoting this message and to be able to demonstrate how Wavestore’s solutions can help generate sales growth for our business partners throughout the EMEA region.”

Shashi Yadav has worked within the electronic security industry for six years, two of which as a Business Development Specialist for Sony India, whilst immediately prior to joining Wavestore, he was Regional Sales Manager for Genetic in India.

Reporting to Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore, Shashi will be responsible for developing business relationships with key market influencers in order to identify new sales opportunities for Wavestore’s video recording and management solutions throughout India & its neighbouring countries.

"We fully appreciate that the fast growing security industry within the Indian Subcontinent offers us the opportunity for a dynamic increase in sales and Shashi’s appointment to the  newly created role of Business Development Manager reflects our commitment to offer outstanding pre, as well as post sales, support to customers who operate in this important market sector,” said Chris Williams.  "We are very fortunate to be able to recruit the services of Shashi. His expertise and market knowledge will be extremely valuable to Wavestore as we look to capitalise on our reputation for delivering robust, reliable and flexible VMS solutions which can be custom designed to exactly match customer’s requirements.”

Commenting on his appointment, Shashi said: "I recently attended Ifsec International in London and was highly impressed with the interest shown in Wavestore’s open platform recording solutions. The company’s stand was packed full for all three days of the show. Visitors were hungry to learn more about how Wavestore can help them achieve a seamless integrated security solution that can incorporate a wide range of third party technologies and systems, regardless of the size or complexity of the project. I am therefore very excited to be able to progress my career with Wavestore and to have the opportunity to promote the company’s solutions across the Indian Subcontinent. I am confident that the interest from installers, system integrators, consultants, specifiers and end-users will be just as good as what I witnessed at Ifsec.”
