Videology launches latest encoder board set

Greenville, RI (USA) and Uden, The Netherlands

Videology Imaging Solutions is introducing its newest encoder board set, and hailing it as the world's smallest and lightest weight available for its feature rich set, designed to be a perfect solution for OEMs.
The powerful Linux based 60SVM processor encoder has several complimentary peripheral interface boards.

The most important features include both, HD digital 1080p and simultaneous analogue video inputs to H.264 encoding and multi-stream outputs.  There are two audio inputs and the device is designed into an ultra small form format measuring only 42mm x 42mm.  There is a USB port for 3G/4G cellular modems and removable flash storage for up to 64GB, plus 4 GPIOs.  5VDC is available for camera power and the power consumption is <2 watts.  PoE - power over ethernet is available via a third board, and the SDK is PSIA compatible.  In the future the company will also be releasing an HD-SDI input board.

The device is capable of 32Gb of SD recording with no frame loss, and includes an overwrite option and continuous recording.  There is facility for up to 10 sec. pre-roll, alarm buffer for recording and unlimited post roll (selectable with each triggered event).  Events can be user named, colour coded and time stamped.  Setup options allow for continuous recording with overwrite whilst recorded files can be uploaded instantly to FTP sites with an optional e-mail notification. Files are read with VLC, Quicktime or Windows Media Player and GPS is also available through the serial port.

The company will also consider enquiries for specialty OEM based boards.
