Universal transmitter unit with three terminals

Nisou, Czech Republic

The JA-80D from Jablotron is a universal transmitter with three terminals: Tamper, In and Ground. The status of the inputs is wirelessly reported to an Oasis control panel to which the JA-80D has been enrolled.

Typically some kind of wired detector can be wired to the terminals up to 3 metres away, or another device with a switched output that represents the status of the monitored phenomenon.

An example of a suitable device is the LD-63HS water-flood detector. On detecting unwanted water, the LD-63S changes its output state which triggers the connected JA-80D to wirelessly signal this to the control panel or other unit to which it has been enrolled.

An instant or delayed reaction can be set via internal DIP switches, as can whether the input is NO or NC.

A tamper sensor enables the reporting of any unauthorised entry into the device.

The lithium battery permits a typical battery lifetime of 3 years.
