The Brasserie is a very busy environment, with waiting staff constantly moving from the kitchens to dining areas often carrying heavy trays. 'It's vital we can keep our fire doors open legally. Dorgard X has proven to be the perfect solution as it allows us to legally and safely hold open fire doors and enhance access, automatically closing them in the event of a fire emergency.'

When the fire alarm sounds Dorgard X receives a signal from System X to release the fire doors, preventing the spread of fire and smoke. System X can be either hardwired into the fire alarm panel or a completely wireless acoustic system. Any number of Dorgard X units can be linked to any one System X unit within range, although a site survey must be carried out prior to installation.

The Dorgard X features automatic night-time release facility, it complies with BS EN 1155 and is accepted by the Fire and Rescue Service. It is designed to improve access throughout buildings in line with the Equality Act 201 and is available in a variety of colours and finishes.
