The solution is an ultra-compact platform suitable for limited space environments such as an automated teller machine room and it is provided with a cable for direct connection to an energy-efficient 12V battery, protecting the equipment against possible mains power loss.

In addition a second option of centralised recording at the entity’s Data Processing Centre is available to clients including up to 32 automated teller machines through H.264 coders for displaced ATM.

The two proposed solutions use highly optimised video compression algorithms in such a way that the available bandwidth for ATM is not jeopardised.

ATM recorders, apart from being perfectly integrated with the rest of the suite of Visionsurfer tools, are miniaturised devices which allow for access and remote management via IP from the control centre as if it were another bank office.

Various recording modes are amongst its functionalities, which allow either for continuous recording, for a programmable schedule of recording or the device can be signalled to commence recording by an external event or by an alarm generated by a particular ATM transaction.

Furthermore, it allows for simultaneous video search for many cameras, with graphical summary of date/time and any other captured event: alarm, movement detection, ATM transaction with card number, quantity and POS transaction without stopping the recording.
